What We Know About Generation Beta

Generational Trends

It’s official: babies born between 2025 and 2039 are part of the newly minted Generation Beta. Social researcher and futurist Mark McCrindle, known for coining the term “Generation Alpha,” introduced this label to define the next generation. Growing up in an era shaped by advanced technology, including artificial intelligence and automation, Gen Beta is expected to witness significant societal shifts.

Why This Matters

We often cover generational trends with a view to better understand how to relate to one another in our careers, communities, and on a spiritual level.

As we prepare for the rise of Generation Beta, we have an opportunity to anticipate the needs and expectations of a generation that will grow up fully immersed in technology. From wearable health devices to virtual environments, these advancements will be part of their everyday lives. As the McCrindle report highlights,

The experiences of Generation Beta will be vastly different from their predecessors, as they grow up in an era where AI, robotics, and automation are seamlessly integrated into daily life.

This generation will not only adapt to technology but expect it in every environment, including school, church, and the workplace. By understanding these shifts now, we can better equip ourselves to connect with and support the world they will shape.
