What were you doing on July 15th, 1996? I sat at my desk in the small community of Tsawwassen, BC after resigning from an enviable position with a major advertising agency. A little shocked, a lot excited, and completely in awe, this was my first day on the job. Eaglecom had been launched and I could not imagine what God would do in the following 28 years.
And now, all these years later, I could speak of the 336 media billing cycles and the thousands of programs that have been placed on broadcast outlets and digital platforms, but I’d rather recall how we have been carried by God through many seasons. Talented team members have contributed over the years to our main mission…to reach people with life-changing messages.
Our values have never changed, and our calling will always be to join our ministry clients to creatively, effectively and cost-efficiently, convey messages that will truly make a difference…for eternity.
An anniversary is a good time to reflect on God’s goodness in the past, His promises for the future and His faithfulness in the present. Today is the day we are living and with every fibre in us, we will come together to serve God and the wonderful clients who have trusted us over the years.
I am so very grateful for the ministries we get to serve, and I am thankful for our gifted team. No, I didn’t know 28 years ago what would happen next. But I now have lots of wonderful stories to share! We are ready for many more.
