Did you know the NRB International Christian Media Convention is the world’s largest gathering of Christian communicators?
Last week, I had the privilege of attending NRB 2025 in Dallas, Texas, alongside four of our team members. With 5,800 registered participants, this year’s event was bigger than ever—fitting for a city known for doing things on a grand scale!
Beyond the numbers, NRB was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Ministries, media leaders, and organizations gathered with a shared mission: to proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and expand Kingdom impact.
While NRB has long been recognized as a broadcast convention, it has evolved into a space for exploring innovative ways to reach people worldwide. One of the most talked-about topics this year? AI. Conversations throughout the conference focused on both its potential and its ethical challenges, raising important questions about how Christian communicators can approach this rapidly evolving technology with wisdom and discernment.
It was an incredible week filled with connections, conversations, and opportunities to collaborate. I’m excited to see how the insights from NRB will shape the future of our work.
A key highlight for me was The Ministry Leadership Reception, a vibrant gathering that brought together over 50 leaders for a time to connect and share ideas and visions for the future. While NRB is often filled with meetings between ministries and broadcasters, this reception created a rare opportunity for leaders to connect with each other, fostering meaningful conversations that will continue long after the event. Plans are in place for a Summit gathering that will give this group the opportunity to do a deeper dive into the key topics that affect our ministries. We believe learning from each other and sharing best practices helps us all fulfill our mission to reach people with life-changing messages.
Although I’ve attended the NRB over 25 times, it was a first for some of our team members. It was a joy to see them experience this dynamic week with fresh perspectives and open minds. No matter how many times we (or you) have participated in this conference, one thing is certain: the importance of strengthening relationships cannot be overstated.
The connections made—both planned and unexpected—create lasting partnerships and open new doors. Not only do we gain inspiration from each other, we reinforce the importance of relating to those in the world, with whom we want to connect.
If NRB sparked new ideas for you, or if you’d like to explore how we can collaborate, we’d love to connect.
Reach out anytime—we’d love to hear from you!
